We can start with the stadium π that no longer exists, right here in Fort Lauderdale.
Both the Yankees and the Orioles called the place home before relocating to the Gulf Coast. I actually attended a game way back when in the place, the only time that I saw a spring training game in person.
Both teams enjoy new homes now, and the NY place in Tampa is a chip off the old George Steinbrenner block. Last year, I was able to attend a Florida State League and left truly impressed by the feel of the facility.
The Tarpons made way for the Tampa Bay Ray’s during the 2025 season after the MLB club lost the roof at Tropicana Field during a hurricane.
Fort Lauderdale no longer hosts baseball games, but the location does now hold an MLS Soccer park.
Vero Beach β±οΈ is still the home of Dodger Town, but the Dodgers now play on the West Coast.

We ( West Virginia Tech University Baseball ) have played games in the historic park as the facility is still available for use. Just not the home of a team.
