Marion and Shelia Harris started out at Emory and Henry Soccer ⚽️ and did a live feed as their oldest Daughter Adrienne and her Wasps hosted Shaw. The visitors scored a late insurance goal to win 2-0.

The Varsity Volleyball 🏐 team traveled over to Marion for a Non-District match with a talented Marion (4-1) squad. The two teams split last season with the Home team prevailing each night. Our Cavaliers will hope to return the favor in a few weeks when the host the rematch. CCHS captured the third set after falling behind 2-0 before dropping the fourth set 27-25 in extra time. The team will head further down I-81 Saturday morning when they participate in a day long Jamboree at PH- Glade Springs.

Coach Petty watched his JV squad compete hard once again but fell 2-0 to their Hosts. The young team has shown improvement in each of its first three matches and will continue to search for its initial victory.

Football played at home in a rare Thursday night game and went toe 2 toe with Grayson County before falling just short 12-7. The Cavaliers (1-1) took the lead in the fourth quarter before the Blue Devils scored the game winning touchdown.

With the events taking place in various places the photos 📷 are not award winning shots and we would welcome some better ones as well as hearing from any coaches involved.

E & H controlled possession for the first 14 minutes but it was Shaw that netted the games first goal.

Both squads came to play in Set #4 and Marion squeaked out a 27-25 win to take the Match 3-1.

Marion improves to 4-1 and Carroll County heads into Saturday morning 🌄 at 2-1.

On the Football side of things the Cavaliers took a 7-6 lead in the fourth quarter before Grayson punched in the winning TD, taking the contest 12-7 in Hillsville. More to follow…

92,000+ at a Women’s Volleyball 🏐 event has to bring a smile to the face of any fan of “Other ” sports!

It’s Game Day for our Volleyball 🏐 team and it will take place down in Marion starting with the JV match at 5:30. Marion will be live in Marion and we will try to shed some light on our Ladies.

Football is normally reserved for Friday nights but this week the Varsity is slated to take to the field tonight as well. We will do our best to share any information you we can find from the gridiron 🏈 as well.

Thursday night 🌙 will be tag teaming with Marion once again from down in Marion, Virginia. How cool is Marion Harris ??? So cool that he has is own beautiful Town named after him ! Together we will try and shine a light on our VB team.

Saturday – My only responsibilities on Saturday is to make it down to Patrick Henry – Glade Springs as a Cheerleader for the day long Volleyball 🏐 Fest. Our Lady 👩 Cavaliers will be playing four Matches for sure and if it goes well they will be playing Five. Going to try to document the long day through the eyes 👀 of others.

Sunday – Even though Boone is only 90 minutes below Glade Springs I have to make the loop by way of Luray. Then it will be time for a 3pm start for the Appalachian State University Field Hockey 🏑🏒 team to host Davidson.

Monday – Break out the Blogger Cap for the Duke- Clemson Prime Time affair. This one should end just before Midnight in Durham.

Tuesday Night 🌙 – Back to Hillsville for our next Volleyball 🏐 EVENT ! The team will have been on the road for two weeks and it will be fun to get back at it in front of the Home 🏡 fans.

We will also continue our efforts with our Golf ⛳ Coach and his outing on the 17th. Two teams have been lined up as The A Team & The Not Ready for Prime Time Players! Also working on getting the Hole Sponsor signs ready with some help from Brandi’s Dad 👨 / Nancy’s Husband down at Omega.

We will hopefully get some 411 from the Varsity Football game which will be on Thursday night this week versus Friday night.

Finally – my main man Kris Richardson and I have been communicating with Nancy Sorrell at all hours of the day and night 🌙 as she is putting the wraps on our Basketball 🏀 Book 📖.

PA, Host, Blogger, planner, coordinator, Fan and spreader of Joy will be just some of the Hats 👒 that will be worn over the next 6 Days but in the words of Barney on How I Met Your Mother –

The JV squad fell once again to the Cougars but the margin was much smaller. Coach Petty and his youngsters put a scare into the Home Team before falling 25-14 and 25-20.

Pulaski County is one of the handful of schools 🏫 that chooses not to participate in the Network so hard working Marion will provide footage through Facebook streaming.

His dedication is why he’s earned a 4th floor suite in our imaginary Home office 🏢.
