Just a couple of highlights from a busy, busy weekend.

Patricia Lineberry takes the time to pen 🖊 her message describing her latest performance with her incredibly talented group, on her Birthday 🎂, none the less.

The photo 📷 on the right was taken just after the conclusion of the induction ceremony at the Virginia State High School 🏫 Hall of Fame Ceremony. Alan Knight was one of eight new members that entered the Hall yesterday afternoon in Charlottesville.

“Ava Beamer was hitting her targets this evening. She pitched a two hitter and gets her third win on the mound as the middle school softball team defeated Patrick County 19-4. Kyra Moser, Maeli Parker, and Milli Parker each had multiple RBI’s. Super proud of our Lady Cavs!!”

Marion Harris stands here cold 🥶 and wet but is still doing his job as a line judge at yet another Soccer ⚽️ match down in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Mercifully its the final game of his weekend schedule 📅 so he will be safely back in his car 🚗🙏

I am so glad that we have Marion on our side ! 45° and rain ⛈🌧…he’s like the Post man 👨, he always delivers.

The day started out normal enough, picked up momentum in the afternoon and closed out as the second biggest day we’ve experienced.

Not really sure what triggered some new people finding their way in but Welcome to what I like to call “The Happy Place “. The goal was to design a place online that only contains positives and has a direct tie 👔 to someone or something in Carroll County, Virginia. A place where folks of all ages could check ✔ in with they have a few minutes and find out about all the wonderful 👏 things happening around them.

There are some days where its easy to stop and wonder if people realize that the site is there but that wasn’t the case yesterday. So if you are just finding out about the site, Welcome 🙏. Each read is designed to be consumed in two minutes or less because we appreciate just how busy everyone is and we aren’t looking to give people homework.
