It’s that time of the year – the next stop βœ‹οΈis Liberty University and the completion of the Box πŸ“¦ Set of πŸ‘•πŸ‘•πŸ‘•πŸ‘•. Brenden Fariss is heading to LU to represent our Track πŸ‘£ and Field program ! Running post until 4pm Friday

Here in just a couple of hours, Head Coach Shawn Montgomery and Carroll County High School junior, Brenden Fariss, will be leaving The Hill. For the fourth time in four years, I will follow behind them in hopes of providing coverage for our young Cavalier.

Year 1 had freshman Corrie Delp and Senior Elijah Smith.

Year 2 was sophomore Corrie Delp and junior Brayden Smoot.

Year 3 was Junior Corrie Delp and sophomore Brenden Fariss.

Year 4 will be Junior Brenden Fariss.

Assistant Coach Jon Delp is currently in southwest Missouri with his family as the celebrate daughter Amy and her moving to the next level of her service to pur country.

The journey starts here in Olde Mill, and from here, it’s on to the high school 🏫.

This feed will stay active right up until we have completed the Class 3 High Jump competition tomorrow afternoon. We will pick it up again at the school shortly.

We have one final piece of Cavalier business to attend to, and it begins with a send-off this afternoon on The Hill. Shortly after noon, our travel party will begin the two day trek up to Lynchburg for the Class 3 & 4 State Track πŸ‘£ and Field Championship.

The actual competition takes place Friday afternoon for Fariss, and the goal is to shine a bright of a light as possible on the young man.

Later tonight, it will be time for game 2 of the Softball College World Series between Texas Tech University and the University of Texas.
