Some thoughts from the teams lone Senior :

How would you describe the Commitment to Wrestling to a fellow student in hopes of getting them into a meet, ?

” It’s the hardest sport to work at and the most interesting to watch.”

What are your early thoughts on being coached by Mr. West Long?

” I am excited about Coach Long being here because he will be here for the long run. He pushes us to be our best every day. “

Final thoughts on being a High School 🏫 wrestler ?

” You have to be in the Wrestling room everyday and give 100% every time. If you are lazy in practice it will show up on the mat.”

Jason Stockner is back once again as the Junior Varsity Head Coach and Varsity assistant Coach. Thursday night πŸŒ™ they welcomed the Cougars to the Gymnasium on the Hill. The team fell short, dropping a 46-25 decision but there were some bright spots for the younger Cavaliers

Dane Leonard led the offense with 13 points while Blake Reed added 8 more but the team couldn’t climb out of an early hole. Pulaski County took the opening quarter 10-1 but the deficit was not due to a lack of effort from the group but a case of the shots simply not falling early on.

Colton Gravely and Kyle Bunn each added 2 points to round out the scoring for the Cavaliers.

Always appreciate it when Mr.T is in the building !

We will wrap it up with the final score and the always important post game handshake.

Normally I would add some thoughts on the game at this point but I’ve reached out to Allen Worrell about creating an actual game story for the Carroll News. We will share it here once Allen has posted the story.

Thanks again to Mr.T !
