This year’s WCWS has definitely been a wild ride!! And it all comes to an end over the next 2-3 days. I wanted to send you my 2 cents worth, which due to the penny shortage has now been rounded up to a nickel…
As we enter the final stretch it’s notable that we have a repeat of last year’s match-up with Texas and Texas Tech. Texas has definitely had a dominant performance over the past four years and will take the field today as the defending WCWS Champs.
Texas Tech is no stranger to the spotlight either, as they have made the championship game on their first two trips to the WCWS.
With Texas being the defending Champions, and having Teagon Kavan in the Circle, and a powerful offense led by Katie Stewart, they will be “tough to beat”!!
TT is used to “tough to beat” as they swept the #1 Seed Alabama in back-to-back games to make it to tonight.
With the dominance in the circle by both NiJaree Canady and Kaitlyn Terry, along with the Mia Williams long ball, it will definitely make for an exciting WCWS!!
So, to get down to my .05 worth…..
I look for THREE very competitive games with Gerry Glasgow and The Red Raiders of Texas Tech coming out Victorious.
