Let’s call πŸ“ž this one : Why is May 28th circled on the calendar πŸ“…?

Thursday, May 28th is the date for the Region 2B Softball tournament quarterfinals. Alan Knight and his Lady Panthers team are currently holding down the #4 spot.

That day, #3 will host #6 & #4 will host #5, meaning if things stay the same, Page County High School Softball would host Fort Defiance at Alan Knight Field.

To say that I want to make that drive πŸš— and announce that game for Alan and his team is an understatement. But there is a great deal of ball that has to be played between now and then. We need to keep in mind that the Region only takes the top 6 teams, so the spot is far from guaranteed. Today, the team is scheduled to play the Class 3 runner-up from last season, Turner – Ashby, and that game is pending the weather.

Fingers crossed 🀞!

Just hanging out in the rain 🌧, here in Laurel Fork, and it’s time to be Positive while awaiting the next update from Mr DeHaven….

Landon Harmon, Deana Burcham, and Peyton Burcham

Landon Harmon is the very definition of a likable young Man πŸ‘¨! The photo πŸ“Έ here comes from this past Saturday when Carroll County High School baseball was hosting neighboring Galax.

Harmon is equal parts knowledgeable and cool 😎 , something that is in short supply these days !

While our paths don’t cross very often, it brings a smile to my face. Maybe it has something to do with how he was raised??

Keep on being you, young man !
