Bill Gallimore is someone who simply embraces life here on The Hill ! We share a few things with the leading one, being we are married to our solemates who both happen to be named Linda.

It was Kris Richardson that first introduced me to Bill shortly after we started on our basketball book, and it was the manner he described him that intrigued me. Kris explained that Mr and Mrs Gallimore enjoy and support everything Cavalier.

Over the years, Bill has both followed along and participated in our efforts to package 📦 a positive outlook and make a difference in the lives of others.

In the same manner that I smile when I wake ⏰️ up to a message from both Howard Mayo and Travis Osborne, I find comfort in knowing that Bill Gallimore is one of the folks that reads through the stories.

Just like the line about Cowbells, we need more Bill Gallimore !!!!

Travis Osborne and his Bible Verse of the Day :

Que up Allen Iverson and his sound bite about ” Practice, we’re talking about Practice”…. Tonight is the first of many editions of Friday Night Lights for the 🏈🏈🏈 Cavaliers, and while it is only practice football, it’s still an incredibly big deal for many.

For the younger players, it presents them and their parents to experience their very first Bus 🚌 ride with their teammates and their shoulder pads !

For the Father’s, an opportunity to sit in the stands and look out onto the field with a sense of pride and say, ” That’s my Boy.”

For the Moms, it will be equal parts pride and nerves as they watch their little boy compete with players from other schools 🏫, some will be much larger than their son.

”  I’m SO excited for football. I can barely stand myself. Blake and Colton have played some type of sport together since elementary school, and seeing them finish their school years on the field and on the court is bitter sweet. I believe the two of them have truly spurred each other on, over the years – iron sharpening iron. They have good chemistry.”

That insert comes from a proud mother on the other end of the spectrum. For the seniors tonight, we begin the final rodeo, and just like everyone else who posted their pics 📸 on the first day of school, life is lived through their Kiddos.

Having spent time in a delivery room on five occasions, I feel qualified to speak on the emotions of a senior year. Maybe not as well as Mrs Gravley, but yes, just the same.

While it[ is just]” practice ” tonight, understand that it is so much more to oh so many.

Closer to home tonight, up the road in downtown Laurel Fork, Brad Nester, and friends will be hosting a Taco 🌮 dinner to raise funds for our Community Center.

There are choices to make, and I will add another one – if life presents itself with a window 🪟 of opportunity to show kindness to another, to borrow from Nike, ” Just Do It.”

This morning, Brother Osborne checked ✔️ in at 5:49 with his Bible Verse of the Day. Then, it becomes a copy and paste and adding a photo 📸.

The next thing to happen will take place at 6 am. when the email 📧 from Joel Osteen is sent, providing a second Bible verse for the morning.

After a while, Coach Mayo will share his Motovational Nugget for the Day.

I truly appreciate 🙏 the fact that both Travis and Coach are willing to take the time to share the same thought that they do on social media ! There is a world 🌎 beyond social media, and those people who live there want to be uplifted as well !
