Month: July 2026

San Diego Wave is hosting the Seattle Reign in NWSL action 🎬 on a Sunday evening ! Ainsley Layna McCammon has mad skills, and she is just getting started !

Seattle has put the biscuit in the basket 🧺 twice in the opening half, and both goals were set up by an incredibly talented young lady wearing the colors of Seattle.

Ainsley Layna McCammon just made soccer ⚽️ history by  becoming the youngest player, recording multiple assists in an NWSL match.

Just how good do you have to be to sign  a professional contract before your 18th birthday ?

Bedford, Texas, is home, and she signed with Seattle while most people her age were attending their high school prom.

Seattle Reign lead 2-0 at the start of the second half at Snap Dragon 🐉 stadium 🏟.

Congratulations to the young lady on her new record !

Seattle has been prone to giving up early 2-0 leads as of late, so the combination of the heat 🥵🔥 and recent history will make the second 45:00 rather interesting.

Closing in on 60 minutes of action 🎬, still 2-0 Seattle.

Final 20 minutes, and San Diego is applying non-stop pressure now.

Claudia Dickey has now matched her career high with seven saves, with three of them being next level !

Seattle earns all 3 points with a 2-0 victory, and Dickey puts on a show with 9 saves !

Seattle coach just became the first NWSL leader to reach 100 victories with just one club.

Sunday afternoon at Hillsville Elementary School 🏫 as Vickey Ritchie continues to work her weekly Magic 🎩

There is a theme each and every time that Coach Vickey Ritchie gathers her extended family. This week, it is a tribute to the Minnions and the character known as Stitch.

The unofficial count of participants is north of 20 with a handful of family members,  Courtside.

Later on today, Vickey will send me a handful of pics 📸 from the practice, and I will add them to the bottom of this post 📫.

Personal note 📝 : I’m a big fan of Principal Nester and her efforts to raise the bar !

There were three Greg Maddux moments from the road this time, and one of them led to something pretty awesome showing up in the mailbox 📬!!! Here’s one of them…

Thank you to Mr David Epstein for the gift 🎁 of one Greg Maddux rookie card !

David was the center of the third Maddux conversation over the seven weeks on the road and now has cemented a place in the story of chasing HOPE.

We met during Week 6 of 7, while David was working at the Spring Mountains Visitors Gateway and immediately jumped into a conversation about life and the path that had brought us to the point in our lives.

At one point, the conversation led to my appreciation for the baseball ⚾️ career of Greg Maddux, and David had grown up as a lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers fan, so the focus was on the time where Maddux pitched for LA.

In a show of appreciation to David, I will wear my Maddux Dodgers jersey to our Special Olympics Basketball 🏀 practice today. The ongoing search for others who choose to live life in a positive manner is a challenge. Sometimes, you strike gold and other days, not so much, but that day out in Mt Charleston, Nevada, it was like hitting the jackpot.

David and his two co-workers are the real deal and represent the U.S. Forestry department incredibly well !

Returning to the Gymnasium at Hillsville Elementary School 🏫 is just hours away, and that highlights our Morning 🌄 Brew !

Welcome 🙏 to Sunday morning 🌄 and here in a bit, we will be adding the Bible Verse of the Day from Travis Osborne.

Meanwhile, the focus can shift to getting back to the most natural thing that I do here in Carroll County, assisting the efforts of Coach Vickey Ritchie at Hillsville Elementary School 🏫 on a Sunday afternoon.

It has been a hot minute since we have been in the gym together, but hopefully, things will just fit into place quickly. From 2 to 4 pm. today, the goal will be to provide someone unconditional support in their efforts to bring joy and acceptance into the lives of others !

There is something powerful in clarity, and that is what you want anytime you step out into the public eye. Knowing that your efforts will help make the difference in another’s day !

Travis Osborne and his Bible Verse of the Day :

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Also, at 2 p.m., it will be Game 2 in the AUSL Championship series.

Have a Blessed Day 🙌😇🙏

Welcome 🙏 to Saturday, July 25th ! The weekend is here…

Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Red Letter Day for the World of Professional Softball as for the first time in the history of the sport, a game will be televised on network TV 📺!

All three games are set to be televised, so regardless of who you are pulling for, pull for the series to go the distance !
