Monday concluded with a 3.0 mile trek to cap off a 20,000 step 🚶♂️ day !
Sunday afternoon took us over to Capitol Reef National Park for the first time. The Northern half of the state of Utah is very different from where we are staying in the Desert 🏜. They are currently suffering from a lack of snow ❄ – insert laughter here.
This led to a drive 🚗 up to 10,000 feet in February where we shared a National Park with a dozen other people,in total.

I believe that Jessica and Donnie visited this park in the past. Jabin is the Son of Jessica & Greg Talley. Greg Talley is a Kool Dude and he knows Cody Reece.

#10 – Mrs Goins has a personality and mindset that drips in positivity.
#9 – Her husband Scotty is quite the personality and a spouse cannot be that way without consent.
#8 – Has camera 📷, will travel and share the moments with others.
#7 – Has somehow not let being related to Rick Nester damper her optimistic attitude. Yes, Coach, I’m counting the days until first pitch at Cavalier Park too.
#6 – Patti has really Cool 😎 friends, like Velvet Leonard and her husband Chris ➕ Mr & Mrs Kevin Burress. Donna Nester as well.
#5 – Patti Goins has neat Grandchildren and I believe that one of them is celebrating a Birthday 🎂 today. Happy Birthday…

Somedays everything just falls into place and life is good. Here is a thought process that might help on a day when that isn’t the case.
Lin had an appointment this morning that left me with roughly 60 minutes to fill and right down the road from Anytime Fitness. The idea 💡 of walking 🚶♂️ on a treadmill for 60 minutes wasn’t lighting my fire 🔥 so I decided to make a Math game out of it.
Setting the targets at 600 calories and 2.0 miles stimulated my interest and had me adjusting both the speed and the elevation from start to finish! Anything to make it more interesting….
The 2.00 miles was spot on perfect but that is the easier one of the two. When the clock ⏰ hit 60:00 I was still 1 calorie short, hence needing the 8 extra seconds to close it out.
This formula works for many tasks that you know need to take place but are less than stimulating. Now, the rest of the steps today will come on a nice Hike 🚶♂️.

Postponed and the second attempt for our Girls 👧 to play Abingdon in Basketball 🏀 will not happen either.

It’s Baseball ⚾️ Week for our Golden Bears 🐻!!!! But the games are scheduled to be played around the corner from where the Volleyball tournament just took place so it will be interesting for sure.
Yesterday afternoon we swung a little out of our way after the Basketball 🏀 Bonanza and drove up to Capitol Reef National Park
Will create a post 📫 from it here in a bit but will add that because of the bizarre weather here over the weekend ( Way hotter than normal ) it was like we had the National Park to ourselves. People don’t make plans to drive up 10,000 feet on February 1st…..
