For 80 years on earth 🌎, Dolly Parton shined in a manner that few could ever hope for. Her voice, her smile, and her humility are just the first three things that come to mind for me. Her kindness and sense of humor were not far behind, and GENEROSITY has to be spelled in all caps.

In a world full of people who the different sides can not agree on, Dolly was the exception. Rest in Peace….

Wake Forrest University hosts an annual stop on the Profesional Men’s Tennis 🎾 tour each year, and this is the week for it in 2026.

The event has a floating ticket 🎟 price which Wake uses for almost every event they host.

I am going to absorb as much information as possible and then circle 🔵 back to fill in the information.

The results from the four matches that were taking place in the first of three sessions today. Each of the winners advances to the Sweet 16 portion of the tournament.

The food options were a solid mix of Concession stand and food trucks 🚚. Even more options in regards to beverages.

The atmosphere for the night session is considerably more electric for two reasons. First, playing under the lights in any sport is always more fun ➕️ there are more fans that can attend without having to take a day of work to do so.

The photo 📸 of the racket doesn’t look that different from the angle, but trust me when I say it was super sized as maybe it was built for Thor or Hulk. It’s a great photo opportunity.

While the ATP event is professional tennis 🎾 it does take place during an overlap with the U. S. Open in New York City.

Professional tennis 🎾 being played within 50 miles of your front door 🚪is kinda cool, and watching 👀 all of the moving pieces that it takes to host an event of that size was worth the trip.

While the trek had very little to do with the actual tennis, to not mention the quality of the matches would be shortsighted. Wow, these folks can play !
