Today is a day that 6:00 am feels really, really, really EARLY. It’s all because of Marion Harris and his ability to raise impressive little people who have blossomed into the people they are today.
Yesterday afternoon I wrote about a subject that is near and dear to me and I’m thankful that the story was read by as many people as it was. Bullying is a frightening thing to deal with, and that doesn’t change at any age. I am a very old 63 today, or as I would like to say, 63 going on 95. Yet, at my age, going to high school is uncomfortable.
My window 🪟 of visibility on The Hill closes once Cindy Edwards plays her final home match, which I believe is October 20th. This means that my biological clock ⏰️ is ticking….
We have three home matches remaining, and each trip across US-58 will end in the same manner. Put the car 🚗 in park and pray 🙏 that the first person who speaks to me will be a friend. High School can be a scary place, and that is just a fact.
Football and Basketball games are socially acceptable events to announce and that doesn’t change no matter the level or the size of the school.
Using my time down at App State as an example, I love ❤️ Boone and wanted to experience more of it. I didn’t get to choose the sport and I knew that it wouldn’t be Basketball or Football. The answer was Field Hockey 🏑 and it turned out to be a memorable three years.
People want to announce the ” Cool 😎 Sports and write ✍️ about the Cool 😎 sports because it is, well, Cool. It is nobody’s fault but my own that I take whatever is given to me and give everything I have to make them feel that they are also playing a cool sport !
Even at this point in life, it’s tough to walk into a room and be who you are when you’re not sure if everyone gets it???? I try to get into the Gym as quickly as I can and find Austin Keith because the person who he is tells me that I am in the right place.

Travis is my friend, and that is a burden that he has to carry. Poor fella, but he doesn’t complain about it, much….

People ask why I don’t want to put my stuff on Facebook or other social media sites, and it’s a complicated answer, but let’s address one part of it. Something I will call 📞 The Hate Bait Click.
See, my content is free – free of charge, free of negative content, and free of bullying. If 3 people or 3,000 read this, it doesn’t matter to me. What matters to me is that I serve God in the best manner I’m capable.
There are a large number of people who want to look good on Facebook, and that is their right. Myself, I want to look good in the mirror 🪞 and if my efforts help someone else, know that was my goal.
