Converse University made the trip up from Spartanburg, South Carolina on Saturday and won a back and forth opening set, 26-24 over the Lady Panthers. The Valkyries rode the MOJO from the clutch finish to finish off the 3-0 sweep (25-17-25-15) of the home team.
Ferrum College is set to hit the road for their next three matches, playing at home again on September 23rd.
