The highlight of the drive was an exchange with Travis Osborne and now there is getting together tomorrow to look forward to!

Year 18 here at West Virginia Tech University Baseball is well underway and the team has won three of four heading into today.

By normal standards, the changes for today are minor in nature as the park remains the same and the opposition is the same. The lone difference being instead of playing one nine inning game we will play a pair of 7 inning affairs starting at 3pm.

What triggers a relationship  / partnership that is closing in on two full decades ? An opportunity to work with someone who takes what they do every bit as serious as myself. Those things are truly hard to find.

Golden Bears 🐻 Baseball ⚾️ is about Family πŸ‘ͺ and the drive for the absolute best you can be in everything you do !

Today I will have the opportunity πŸ™ to work with a young Man who has an interest in learning more about how to frame a ballgame with a πŸŽ€πŸŽ™πŸŽ€ and Skipper will try and Win one or two on his side of the White Lines.

West Virginia Wesleyan is there to poke the Bear 🐻 and we are up to the challenge !!!

Golden Bears 🐻 Baseball ⚾️ weekend is set to begin as Kentucky Christian University ✝️ travels down the Turnpike in hopes of playing 3 !

The weather forecast dictated that the day of the double header be flipped from Saturday to Friday.

The biggest challenge with a Baseball season that begins in the Mountains in February is the schedule is more of a suggestion than a fact. That has been the case once again this season but fortunately the teams learn to adapt quickly.

Getting to play Mid – Week baseball games is a Bonus and winning them is icing on the cake πŸŽ‚ !!

That’s exactly what West Virginia Tech University did today in the border town of Bluefield, Virginia. The team erased an 8-5 deficit with a Big Crooked Number in the top of the 7th inning.

Kentucky Christian University ✝️ is slated to visit Beckley this weekend for a 3 game set.

Furman University trails 34 – 31 at the Half. McGowens leads with 9, Alyssa is one of three players with six at the break.

Stuart dropped nine in the third and Alyssa added seven points but the ‘Dins trail 55-50.

Furman University erased a 10 point deficit to pull within 62-61 but Mercer took off again. The close out run was 18-2.
