Proud Moment captured when Kayla Goins Nester joined her Father – In – Law, Rick Nester in the Carroll County High School Hall of Fame.

  Patti Goins is simply off the charts Likeable, if not Loveable ! So, with five good minutes let’s make a list of the Top 10 reasons why Patti Goins is as important part of things on and around The Hill…..

#10 – Mrs Goins has a personality and mindset that drips in positivity.

#9 – Her husband Scotty is quite the personality and a spouse cannot be that way without consent.

#8 – Has camera 📷, will travel and share the moments with others.

#7 – Has somehow not let being related to Rick Nester damper her optimistic attitude. Yes, Coach, I’m counting the days until first pitch at Cavalier Park too.

#6 – Patti has really Cool 😎 friends, like Velvet Leonard and her husband Chris ➕ Mr & Mrs Kevin Burress. Donna Nester as well.

#5 – Patti Goins has neat Grandchildren and I believe that one of them is celebrating a Birthday 🎂 today. Happy Birthday…

#4 – Patti shows unconditional support for her Son in Law, Adam Nester 💙

#3 – Patti Goins is as pleasant as the day is long and it rubbed off on your Children.

#2 – Patti Goins raised Kayla Nester, part of our Sister –  Sister act. You cannot turn into the Amazing young Lady that is the present day Kayla Nester without raising  her to be just like you.

#1 – She took her magical Mothering portion and raised Raylee Goins. Raylee keeps her Mother  young as she competes as a Lady 👩 Cavalier in Volleyball 🏐, Basketball 🏀 and Softball

It’s Baseball ⚾️ Week for our Golden Bears 🐻!!!! But the games are scheduled to be played around the corner from where the Volleyball tournament just took place so it will be interesting for sure.

Yesterday afternoon we swung a little out of our way after the Basketball 🏀 Bonanza and drove up to Capitol Reef National Park

Will create a post 📫 from it here in a bit but will add that because of the bizarre weather here over the weekend ( Way hotter than normal ) it was like we had the National Park to ourselves. People don’t make plans to drive up 10,000 feet on February 1st…..

🙏🙏🙏 for the VDOT crews and guidance for when its safe to get our Kiddos back to School 🏫.

Most folks connected to the Sport of Volleyball 🏐 are full of serious passion and our Kim Weddle is exhibit A as proof of that fact !

Mrs Weddle has been around the sport of Volleyball for a LONG, LONG time and this impressive young Lady cares about her sport in the manner that most folks care about, I don’t know, maybe breathing.

The photo 📷 above is one I am familiar with because its one of two things we have in common. Holding up that plaque and more passion for our efforts that some people might understand.

Four years playing the Sport on The Hill and then four more over at Emory and Henry was a great start. Now her efforts are focused on playing it forward in regards to our youth.

This past weekend, Kim headed over to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for what turned out to be a snow ❄ filled Smoky Mountain Blast. Weddle coached the Rampage U-18 team to a second place finish in the event that was shortened from two days to just Saturday.
