Alex Cruz finished up with a second place finish yesterday and Trenton Newman earned a sixth place finish for West Long and Carroll County. The event was originally slated to stretch across two days but the winter weather shortened it to one very long one.

Today is like a Holiday for me because Duke will receive its 12th Bowl Bid in my 62 years ! So later today we will find out where our destination will be later this month. Best Case scenario is the Pop Tarts Bowl 🥣 in Orlando with the bottom end being Boston, Massachusetts. It’s a Fun Day that doesn’t happen all that often.
Yesterday afternoon, Glenvar High School continued its march towards winning the State Football Championship while the Lake Taylor Titans ended the run of Magna Vista in Tidewater. Grayson County had their impressive season end as well.

Trenton just finished 6th. He lost by pin with 34 seconds left. At most tournaments he would have finished 4th with 3 wins but they changed the criteria today because of switching it to a 1 day tournament
