Our Golden Bears 🐻 played a long way from home and against a talented team, falling 7-4 despite collecting 13 base knocks. Home 🏡 this weekend versus IU – Kokomo.
Love the fact that we went down swinging right until the final out ! We cut the lead to 7-4 before the 27th out was recorded.
It’s hard to imagine that the end of the Golden Bears 🐻 Baseball season is just 18 days away… today, we have Bear on Bear action 🎬 over in Kentucky.
Saturday, April 25th, will be the season ending game for West Virginia Tech University Baseball ⚾️ and that leaves us just over two weeks of action left. Three weekend series remain ➕️ two scheduled mid-week tilts with both being on the road, beginning today at the University of Pikesville.
We enter today’s non-conference match-up with a 9-9 mark in such games. The Bears of Pikeville are enjoying another strong season and should prove to be quite the foe. The final mid-week match-up will take place next Tuesday at Davis & Elkins.

The team returns to Linda K Epling Stadium this weekend for the next to last home three game set versus IU – Kokomo and close out the home schedule on April 24 & 25 versus Midway.
