Game 2 of 3 on Saturday afternoon is still a bit of a mystery but atleast now the Johnston College page is showing it as canceled.

Brayden and Bryce Smoot

The game that was to be tucked in between Alyssa Ervin and Furman University βž• Southern Utah University simply dissappeared. Southwest Virginia Community College is the home for our Smoot Brothers but after hours of searching for the match-up, we finally found that it is officially listed now as canceled.

The Smoot Brothers and their Family πŸ‘ͺ have been a huge part of our efforts here in Carroll County as we enter Year Six. Both Brayden and Bryce Smoot are part of the Saved by the Bell πŸ””: The Cavalier College Years, along with Katie Lam, Alyssa Ervin and Elijah Cox. The information on their games is a bit harder to come by than the others but we keep plugging along just the same !

They are scheduled to play again on Tuesday night πŸŒ™.

Game #1 of 3 on Saturday afternoon was a nice preparation date for Alyssa Ervin and Furman University as the Paladins  get ready for SoCon play !

Coach Curtis did a tremendous job spreading the minutes πŸ‘ across his entire roster in the game against their cross town neighbors. Our Lady Cavalier took full advantage of her limited time on the floor by scoring 13 points in just 14 minutes on 6 of 8 shooting.

Alyssa also added 2 rebounds and 2 Assists as the Paladins improve to 8-7 on the season. Thursday night at East Tennessee State is where the team begins league play.

Alyssa Ervin

Welcome πŸ™ to the Morning πŸŒ„ Brew for Saturday, January 3rd where we will shift our focus from The Hill to Saved by the Bell πŸ””: The Cavalier College Years !

Proverbs 3:6Β In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Three of our five current College players will be in action 🎬 today and the bonus game for us will be making the short by elevated ride up to Cedar City for the Southern Utah University Men’s Basketball game πŸ€ at 6:30.

The Duke, UVA and where I stay motto spills over to both Utah Tech and Southern Utah in addition to the πŸ’˜ for all things Carroll County.

Anytime The Score App doesn’t have a logo next to a team it means that the team isn’t a Division One squad. This sent me to the internet ( which just might catch on ) to learn about today’s opponent for Alyssa Ervin and Furman University.

Get out there and have yourself a Blessed Day πŸ™Œ and know that later on we will piece together something about the three games listed above βž• anything else that finds its way to our inbox πŸ“₯…

Saved by the Bell πŸ””: The Cavalier College Years features Elijah Cox and his Randolph College Wildcats playing down in Raleigh, North Carolina !

Randolph College returns from a long break for the Holidays with a contest at William Peace University. The Wildcats last played back on December 16th against Greensboro College.

Today’s game is not on FloCollege but is available on YouTube. After today the team will move into ODAC play for the final 14 contests of the season.

Elijah Cox hit an early 3-pointer and currently has 3 points and two rebounds with 4:13 remaining in the first half. The Wildcats lead 30 -25 as they look to end non- conference play on a positive note.

We will keep up with the game and invite folks to check back and see how it ended.

Wildcats closed out the first half in a big way and lead 44 – 32 at the break. Cox has two fouls which limited our Cavalier to 14 of 20 minutes played in the opening half.

Wildcats win 82 – 72 !!!

Cox played 32/40 minutes and finished up with 11 points and 3 rebounds !

Well Done Sir, Well Done πŸ‘
