We are ready to start our Basketball 🏀 Triple Header as the Lady 👩 Trailblazers of Utah Tech host Chicago State here in St. George and back on The Hill we have Middle School 🏫 Hoops x 2 !!!

If you are new to one of our running 🏃‍♂️ Blog posts 📫, here’s what you are looking at – Beth Bouldin will be sending me notes 📝 and pictures 📷 from the Middle School 🏫 action and later on I use the information that this Kind Lady provides, sprinkle a bit of my own take and then check ✔ with Darian Brown and Kris Richardson in order to complete a game story.

The key 🔑 ingredient that hasn’t been listed yet is getting a copy of the scorebooks! The idea 💡 is to list as many names of players as possible in the story.

The Utah Tech game is tied in as what I call background noise as we continue to show support for the ” Local ” team.

Our Buffalo 🐃 rocking the Christmas 🎄 sweater…

It’s 2:15 here, so 4:15 back on The Hill…

Check back for more as often as you like, remembering that this is the final week on the schedule 📅 for our Middle School teams.

3rd Quarter Media TO – UT 50-36 over the Cougars…

End of 3rd, UT leading now 59 – 43…

Kris Richardson and Company should be ready for the opening jump back 🏡🏠🏡

Worth noting that if an opponent misses both free throws during the fourth quarter here, everyone gets a free Ice Cream 🍦 from Culver’s !!!!

P.S. – One of the Cougars missed both free throws so FREE Ice Cream 🍦🍨😋

Let’s jump straight from the Boys 👦 Basketball 🏀 gamer being written to the Morning 🌄 Brew, which includes one more shot for our duo of Darian Brown and Kris Richardson to coach up our Middle School 🏫 teams ➕ Wrestling x 2. Hoping to land some Swim 🏊‍♂️ results from a long day on Tuesday!

Along with Howard Mayo and his Motovational Nugget for the Day, I would also like to offer my condolences 🙏 to Allen Worrell and his Family 👪

Travis Osborne with his Bible Verse 🙏 of the Day :

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Afternoon Basketball 🏀 for the Lady Trailblazers at 2pm!

Today promises to be a positive one as weather permitting we will interact with both Kristy Jones and Beth Bouldin later!

Last night 🌙 was made possible with help from Greg Talley and Samantha Lark – Smith!

Have yourself a Blessed Day 🙌

Update from our Athletic Director Kevin DeHaven : High School games are still on but the Middle School 🏫 games have been called off for today.

Thank You Sir for keeping 🙏 us in the know !

From Beth Bouldin :

Hello! We have received word from Coach Brown that there will be no CCMS basketball games today due to Rural Retreat having to close schools for weather.

I do not know if the games will be rescheduled, I will let you know asap what that decision is announced.

Meanwhile, fingers crossed the Cavaliers will return to the court tomorrow night for a make-up game against Christiansburg. At home on Main Street, Hillsville, the boys will start off the evening at 4:30pm, with the Lady Cavs immediately after.

Let’s go Cavaliers! 💙🏀

Final Update :

So, my apologies! I had a game penciled in on my calendar, but apparently that one is not happening. I completely missed the message about that.

So the CCMS Basketball teams will be back in action on Wednesday, playing at Fort Chiswell with the girls starting off at 5:30 PM.

So we have one more last chance to root, root, root for our Kiddos on Wednesday.

Here shortly, its the Junior Varsity Girls 👧 taking the court…

Just like that, the final week of the Middle School 🏫 Basketball 🏀 season is upon us ! Here’s hoping that we get the final two games in…

December 4th isn’t all that long ago as that was the night that Patrick County traveled to The Hill to challenge our Younger Cavaliers.

Three times since that night 🌙, weather has blocked 🚫 the path to more CCMS Basketball. That brings us to tonight when we try once again to play games.

Monday and Wednesday are the dates on the calendar for games with tonight set to be the 🏡🏠🏡 finale.

Morning 🌄 Brew for Monday, December 15th includes the Hope for Hoops and warmer weather !

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Howard Mayo and his Motovational Nuggetfor the Day will appear here shortly!

It wasn’t all that long ago that it felt like the Middle School Basketball teams were playing everyday but now it feels like they haven’t played in a Month. Here’s hoping that both squads will return to action 🎬 later today !

Have yourself a Blessed Day 🙌
