Coach Vickey will need to get extra creative this afternoon as we have a larger than normal gathering ! No need to fret though as Vickey specializes in Creativity !!
Ron Cochran is working on the home stretch in regards to his time at Omega Office 🏢 Supply down on Main Street.
Our friend has found new owners for his shop and they will officially take over on January 1st. They are young and energetic, certainly up to the task of running the business so its the right time for Ron and his bride 👰 Nancy to ride off into the Sunset 🌇 together.
Both Ron Cochran and Allen Worrell proved to be tremendous people to partner with during our five years here and in just a few weeks, the Three Musketeers will be no more. But we had a great run and please know that Ron was there for us, every step of the way !
Countless projects over the years, including three of our four banquets, partnership with the Softball T-Shirt 👕 Foul Ball contest and a boatload of things in between.
Thank You Sir, from the bottom 🙏 of my heart ❤ and I hope that you and Nancy get 30 more years together !

Sherry works out here in Laurel Fork as she plays a HUGE role in making everything run smoothly at Olde Mill Golf Resort ⛳. Working alongside Bo Goins and Hagen Giles, Sherry is part of a great team and works within shouting distance of her Mother 👩 as Mom does the same at our restaurant.
Now let’s connect the dots between Sherry, Vickey Ritchie and Linda / myself over the past 96 hours.
Friday we crossed paths after Boo Ridge prep. Catching both Bo and Sherry together was a Blessing.
Saturday morning 🌄, Sherry and her daughter drove over to Hillsville Elementary School to support Vickey and her Special Olympics effort at Boo Ridge!
Sunday it was back to Hillsville Elementary for Vickey and Basketball practice and then on to Harrisonburg for Trace Reavis golf coverage.
Being that Carroll County plays out at Olde Mill, Sherry had a vested interest in Trace and followed the coverage on our site.
Full circle 🔵, Sherry was at the Floyd County Volleyball 🏐 match last night as she resides on their s side of our neighborly County line.

Whole Lotta of Vickey Ritchie, Linda Carter and Sherry Slaughter in my life the past few days !! If one is going to run themselves ragged, I could not imagine three people who I would rather have been with.
