The next to the last Thank You goes to the Lady πŸ‘© who makes me want to a better person and her dear friend, Sherrif Kemp !

Our Sherrif delivered a Breath taking rendition of God Bless America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Β  For years now, I have happily called Vickey Ritchie an Angel πŸ˜‡ on Earth and any time I can be by her side in the Gymnasium with her Special Olympics Basketball πŸ€ group, I jump at the opportunity to do so.

It was Vickey Ritchie that contacted the Sherrif and invited Mr Kemp to join us. I was looking forward to hearing him sing again after he performed the National Anthem last year at one of the Special Olympics events.

His efforts helped set the tone for the day and for that I’m very grateful πŸ™. October 11th is set to be the day of the Annual Boo Ridge event that is the crown πŸ‘‘ Jewel of Vickey’s year.

. Still time to sign up to join us at Hillsville Elementary School 🏫.

‘Da Plane Boss, ‘Da Plane, Lin’s 2nd Flight ✈️ is in the Air now but I have time for another Thank You – Angie Beamer & Madison’s Momma both tugged at my Heart ❀ yesterday by their random acts of Kindness.

Not once but twice yesterday afternoon a Woman in the crowd made a choice to put others before themselves.

First, Angie Beamer won πŸ† the drawing for the $100.00 Amazon Gift 🎁 Card and offered it back so that another person could have the opportunity to win the prize !

Not long afterwards, Gabby Coleman won the 50-50 drawing being held by Travis Leath and his travel Softball team. The kitty 😺 was $424.00 so Mrs Coleman was going home 🏑 with $212.00 but No, Not really. Mrs C let Travis keep her half.

There are enough people in this struggle with us and here are two more tremendous examples !

I will close this one with a joke at my own expense. Once I had put all my Props back in the Car πŸš—., roughly 3:45, I went in search of Travis Osborne and Nikki Heflin down at Patrick Henry High School 🏫. It wasn’t until I started to get out of the Car that I noticed that I smelled a bit like someone who had been working hard outdoors all day.

This wasn’t going to keep me from going inside, just wasn’t going to sit next to someone who I might could offend. Brother Osborne came down and sat next to me and I felt obligated to apologize. Travis laughed 🀣 and said he worked outside for a living so he could relate.

Fast Forward to the next stop βœ‹which was a television πŸ“Ί to watch my beloved Duke University Football team play Tulane. The place I found was one where people were smoking 🚬.

Then I realized that a Hotel 🏨 room that was available was over $500.00 + Tax so I spent the past nine hours hanging around the Tri-Cities Airport.

I now look like a homeless person and smell of a mixture of outdoors and Smoke. When Booogz gets off the plane here in a few minutes, I will hope for the best ! If she gives me grief, I will say, you should be more like Travis Osborne !!

266 steps πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈfrom one end to the other at the Tri-Cities Airport..
