In just a few minutes, we will be visiting the fourth province of the day. We woke up on Prince Edward Island 🏝, crossed over into New Brunswick, and then into Nova Scotia. Next stop ✋️, Newfoundland and Labrador !
So, there’s a lady named Peggy, and she has a Cove ! Stumbled upon this gem 💎 for the very first time yesterday and color me impressed !!
When you consider yourself an explorer, you have to accept the fact that you are not going to find a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow, but when you do…..
To get to Peggy’s Cove, there is a 40-minute drive 🚗 down a two lane road, but I promise that it is worth the time.
When you add in the fact that there is No Charge for taking it all in, the pleasure goes to another level.
There is a restaurant, huge gift 🎁 shop and a snack bar where you can purchase things, but looking out at a part of the Atlantic Ocean that most people will never see is priceless.
Around the corner is an ice cream shop with a very entertaining owner, and a few feet away, you can get a lobster 🦞 roll.
The hat 👒 with the lobster 🦞 is too funny !

Today, we begin Week #5 of 7, and we have three guests arriving to join the adventure that is the East Coast of Canada 🇨🇦 !!
St. Louis, Missouri , Louisville, Kentucky, and Washington – Dulles are the airports where folks are going to be boarding ✈️ soon, which makes this an exciting day !
Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island 🏝 and Newfoundland / Labrador are the four provinces that we will explore over the next week.
While I have reached double figures on my trips up here over the decades, the three family members arriving are all newbies to this region.
Wayne Carter ( 71), Sharon Jordan (66), and Chris Carter (39) are each about to start an adventure that hopefully will leave a positive memory for years to come.
Now, one fun note 📝 stems from the decision to leave South Florida early and drive 🚗 back to Laurel Fork to rest up for just over a day. The flight ✈️ I was to take out of Fort Lauderdale to NYC and then to Halifax has been delayed seven times and has yet to arrive. 12 hours worth of delays and counting.
Yesterday was my day to arrive and prepare for the excursion. Place a check ✔️ in that box 📦.
The highlight of today will be sitting at a Canadian Pub while watching the Canada 🇨🇦 – Morocco 🇲🇦 World Cup match while waiting for flights ✈️ to arrive !
This is a place that I wasn’t sure 🤔 I would make it back to, and I’m thrilled that it worked out !
