Morning πŸŒ„ Brew
School 🏫 Schedule πŸ“….
Coach Mayo and his Motovational Nugget of the Day :
Travis Osborne and his Bible Verse of the Day :

Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

When Coach packed up his bags πŸŽ’ a couple of years ago and left James Madison University for Bloomington, Indiana, I remember thinking – Good Luck with that. I thought the JMU Dukes West would have some success but there was nothing saying 27-2 and National Champions….Well Done, Sir

Our Swim teams return to action 🎬 tonight up in the Star 🌟 City as Coach Joi Ogle continues her march towards March once again.

Thank You to Anthony Barnes πŸ™ for sharing both of the Basketball previews that wee created for tonight’s games versus Martinsville.

The day will be a long one as the layover in Dallas – Fort Worth will be a 3+ hours but we might be able to pass the time with some Carroll County Hoops on the Network !

Have yourself a Blessed Day πŸ™Œ

Earlier today we previewed the Boys πŸ‘¦ Basketball teams going to the Dog πŸ• pound Tuesday. If nottin else with are equal opportunity here = Howard Mayo and Hailey Cushman will be busy πŸ’‚β€β™‚οΈπŸ’‚β€β™€οΈπŸ’‚β€β™‚οΈ guarding The Hill !

When a large part of the campaign is all things equal, you simply cannot do for one and not for the other !!

5:30 is the scheduled Tip time for the Girls Junior Varsity game against the Martinsville Bulldogs.

Shortly after the conclusion of the JV game, the Varsity team will take their turn hosting the Bulldogs (7 -7).

Home 🏑 Hoops means we will have three teams on display !

Ladies Night πŸŒ™ x 3 on The Hill !!!

A look ahead for Anthony Barnes and our Cavaliers tell us that them Dogs πŸ• will hunt! Carroll County is set to enter the Dog Pound in Martinsville Tuesday night πŸŒ™…

Depending upon your view of the Glass, as in half full or half empty, will play into how you feel crossing the Leap tomorrow night.

Martinsville sits atop the Three Rivers District at 6-0 and is 11-3 overall. A closer look at their results will show that all three loses came over the New Year Holiday in a tournament.

Carroll County High will enter the contest at 6-7 and looking to snap a three game slide for the first time in a long while.

If you are a Glass half full type check out the games both played against Glenvar.

January 15th was the night πŸŒ™ that the Bulldogs traveled to the Highlanders and they held on for a 75 – 66 victory. Back on January 6th we hosted and defeated Glenvar 80 – 76.

If you are a Glass half full, know that the only time we didn’t have an opportunity to win in the fourth quarter was against Floyd County (72-44 ) and on January 9th M’V beat the BuffaloπŸƒes 66 -38.

So, if your glass is half Full, get in your car πŸš— with optimism and drive over to the Pound.

If your glass is half empty, get in your car πŸš— and support our Cavaliers with gusto anyway. Be thankful πŸ™ we swapped Martinsville for Alleghany.

The Junior Varsity game tips at 5:30 pm and the younger Pups 🐢 can play too. Martinsville sits at 8-2 and will prove a challenge for Ryan Phillips and our team of the future.

Happy Birthday to Martin Luther King Junior as we start the Holiday with our Morning πŸŒ„ Brew

Proverbs 29:26 Many seek the ruler’s favour; but every man’s judgment cometh from theΒ Lord.

Β  The weather on The Hill becomes more relevant than normal the next few days as we are now in the week of The Classic.

Vickey Ritchie always has a back up plan incase we have bad weather on the Sunday and this year is no different. The event is slated for January 25th with a backup date of February 2nd.

We kinda need it to not snow this weekend so Lin and I can be there for the Big Day as we are set to fly back out on the 26th. So if anyone has a way to reach out to Mother Nature…..PLEASE do !
