Brother Osborne with his Bible verse πŸ™ of the Day !

Psalm 27:14 Wait on theΒ Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on theΒ Lord.

Patrick County High School 🏫 will return to The Hill this afternoon with the hopes of getting the Football game played after the storm forced it to be postponed.

Have yourself a Blessed Day πŸ™Œ

About Last Night πŸŒ™, Lady Cavaliers Volleyball 🏐 enjoyed their initial Three Rivers District visit over to Martinsville High School !

Head Coaches Cindy Edwards and Nikki Heflin climbed on the 🚌 Bus yesterday afternoon, with their Varsity and Junior Varsity teams on board. The trip over Lovers Leap was the first of many as the Bulldogs replaced the Alleghany Cougars as the seventh team in our Three Rivers District.

Volleyball 🏐 is a we hope to get better sport for Martinsville and our Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers took advantage of the opportunity in a big way as both Carroll County teams swept their hosts.

Nikki Heflin (JV)  is suddenly riding a two march winning streak with both victories coming over TRD opponents. The growth in her unit is showing as is the confidence !

Varsity took control early in the opening set and were never seriously challenged by the Bulldogs. Coach Edwards took full advantage of the opportunity to substitute freely, including swapping Callie Harris and Faith Nicholson in the Libero jersey after the opening set. Clara DeHaven wore it in Set #3.

Carroll County now sits at 11-5 overall, 2-3 in the District with James River High School 🏫 being the only league team that the Cavaliers have yet to face. Martinsville will make its first trip to The Hill later this season ( October 21st).
