Later today both Jason Stockner and Anthony Barnes will take their squads into road games at Chilhowie High School 🏫. It’s the only two contests on the Cavalier Calendar for the day.

  Barnes and Company have started out at 4-0 and the JV team has earned 1 win while being competitive in all four contests.

  Going to add on some photos 📷 from the Hike 🚶‍♂️ yesterday. It helps to know that the elevation of our Hike was 6,500 feet. The various Mountains ⛰ that are seen here are being seen from a pretty high elevation.

 

Southern Utah University of the Western Athletic Conference is hosting Sam Houston State inside the America First Event Center. SUU is located in Cedar City, Utah whose claim to glory is that it holds more Annual Festivals than any other City in the Country.

  Cedar City and St. George sit roughly 45 minutes apart on Interstate 15. Each one is home to a D1 University. Utah Tech was formerly called Dixie State University before changing its name for marketing purposes a few years back.

Leaning on our motto of Duke, UVA and wherever we stay we will adopt both the Thunderbirds and the Trail Blazers for our time here.

  The four teams will combine to play a total of six home 🏡 games this week. The Lady 👩 T-Birds enter tonight with a record of 1-9 on the season but are displaying a great deal of energy here in the first half against the Bearkats.

The SUU Men. (7-3)  are in action 🎬 tonight down at New Mexico State.

Utah Tech Women are off tonight while the Men (2-10)  tip later tonight at 🏡.

  Bonus on the first flight ✈️ of the Day in that both Linda and I were bumped up to First Class ! Now we get to hang out at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport for 90 minutes.

  Their tag line is America’s Friendliest Airport. We are going to be in the Mountains of Utah through Christmas 🎄so we will be operating in Mountain Time (2 hours behind) instead of Pacific Time (3 hours behind).
