Monday February 2nd with the Focus being on a Groundhog named Phil in our Morning πŸŒ„ Brew !

Happy Groundhog Day !
Day 6 of the stretch caused by this Lady

Postponed and the second attempt for our Girls πŸ‘§ to play Abingdon in Basketball πŸ€ will not happen either.

Howard Mayo with his Motovational Nugget for the Day :
Travis Osborne and his Bible Verse of the Day :

Isaiah 55:10Β For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

It’s Baseball ⚾️ Week for our Golden Bears 🐻!!!! But the games are scheduled to be played around the corner from where the Volleyball tournament just took place so it will be interesting for sure.

Yesterday afternoon we swung a little out of our way after the Basketball πŸ€ Bonanza and drove up to Capitol Reef National Park

Will create a post πŸ“« from it here in a bit but will add that because of the bizarre weather here over the weekend ( Way hotter than normal ) it was like we had the National Park to ourselves. People don’t make plans to drive up 10,000 feet on February 1st…..

πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ for the VDOT crews and guidance for when its safe to get our Kiddos back to School 🏫.

Thank You to those who took the time to read the Kim Weddle story – it was a fun write ✍ about a neat individual !

Have yourself a Blessed Day πŸ™Œ

Most folks connected to the Sport of Volleyball 🏐 are full of serious passion and our Kim Weddle is exhibit A as proof of that fact !

Mrs Weddle has been around the sport of Volleyball for a LONG, LONG time and this impressive young Lady cares about her sport in the manner that most folks care about, I don’t know, maybe breathing.

The photo πŸ“· above is one I am familiar with because its one of two things we have in common. Holding up that plaque and more passion for our efforts that some people might understand.

Four years playing the Sport on The Hill and then four more over at Emory and Henry was a great start. Now her efforts are focused on playing it forward in regards to our youth.

This past weekend, Kim headed over to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for what turned out to be a snow ❄ filled Smoky Mountain Blast. Weddle coached the Rampage U-18 team to a second place finish in the event that was shortened from two days to just Saturday.

Callie Harris – Carroll
Raylee Goins – Carroll
Ashton Rodrigue – Carroll
Ali Wright – Carroll

Joining our four Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers were :

Maddie Cox – Galax
Jocelyn McMillian – Grayson County
Annalees Kuelh – Fort Chiswell

Weddle is a neat, neat Lady and a tremendous ambassador to both Carroll County High School and the game of Volleyball 🏐! We are blessed to have her on our side…

For those not as familiar with the sport, that Harris Kid has a reason for wearing the ” wrong color ” jersey !

The Morning πŸŒ„ after showed that the Price was right as we reach the 11th of 11 Utah College and Universities that have Basketball πŸ€ teams !!

Yesterday when the Moon and Stars β˜ͺ️ all lined up to visit the Salt πŸ§‚ Lake Seven, we also knew that Utah State University- Eastern was also playing a twin bill at home.

As was the case last night with Salt Lake CC, we had seen the Eagles play back in December, just not in their Gymnasium.

Neat campus and we actually had the pleasure of playing their Disc Golf β›³ course that criss crosses the property.

The School is one of three in the Bee Hive state that compete at the Junior College level. SLCC and Snow ❄ College being the other two.

Seven D1, one D2 and 3 JuCo schools 🏫 spread across the four corners of Utah.

We were looking for a sign that going over to Price was indeed Right and as soon as we pulled off the exit of US-6 we saw it !

The two places sit across from each other..
Helping others discover the Campus

Welcome πŸ™ to February 2026 with today’s focus being on the safe return of our folks getting back from Tennessee…

Morning πŸŒ„ Brew
School 🏫 Calender is Blank
Travis Osborne with his Bible Verse πŸ™ of the Day ;

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Kira Lawson and her Lady Blue Devils are set to host Wake Forest later this morning in the only game  I have to keep an eye on.

The focus today is on the safe return πŸ™ for all of the players and families who will be returning from Gatlinburg, Tennessee after competing in a Travel Volleyball tournament. Godspeed on your journey.

Bill Gallimore sent in a pleasant note πŸ“ this morning and it included a report of 6 fresh inches of snow ❄ in and around The Hill. Hoping that everyone has everything they need to keep life moving forward.

Yesterday was a Wall 2 Wall day of fun and I will be adding more information on that post πŸ“« for the next week or two. Today willΒ  include a travel back to the Desert 🏜 drive for us so I will conclude with a thought about The Great Basketball Adventure of 2026 in regards to trying throughout the day to add to the Volleyball 🏐 story created for the VB event.

Β  Nothing about the story is newsworthy or going to break any readership records but the reason why I tried to create coverage for the group is because of the Group itself. Three different age brackets of past, current and future Lady Cavaliers loaded up family πŸ‘ͺ cars πŸš— and drove 200+ miles for an opportunity to compete in a sport they obviously πŸ’˜. Travel Volleyball 🏐 has the word Travel in it and these are some dedicated folks who double up as wonderful people.
