Kevin DeHaven was just getting started with his tenure as Athletic Director at Carroll County High School when this story first ran. Why is it relevant this morning, just over two plus years later ?
The 40 – 20 victory last night at James River High School 🏫 moved the Cavaliers to 10 – 0 on the season. Add that to the list that includes capturing the very first Three Rivers District crown 👑 and first ever victory over Glenvar……..
When you discuss the list of accomplishments, it’s already impressive enough before you factor in that Seth Greer and Kevin DeHaven have only been on the job together for roughly 29 months !!!!!!
Three seasons, three different starting quarterbacks, and a program that was far from successful when DeHaven gave Greer the keys 🔑. When you slow 🐌 the thought process down to see the entire thing, it goes from impressive on its own to mind-boggling. Yes, football coaches have been successful long before and will continue to be going forward, but it would be hard to point 👉 out anyone who might have done this much this fast !
