Waking up 90 minutes north of Charleston on a Saturday morning, I made a list of seven things I thought I could accomplish in a healthy manner.
In no order :
- Support the military by attending The Citadel – Tennessee Tech football game ( 2pm – downtown )
- Watch the Charleston Battery professional soccer β½οΈ team host the Indianapolis Eleven ( 6pm – Daniel Island π)
- Visit my favorite spot in the area and walk for 60 minutes on and near the beach β±οΈ on Sullivans Island π.
- Visit the Charleston International Airport π« for no other reason than I love Airports.
- Compile a minimum of 10,000 steps and not give it away by poor food choices.
- Check βοΈ on the only home π‘ that my beautiful bride π°ββsupervised the building of, from start to finish !
- Make contact with Tenia Cattles, the Lady who somehow managed to keep us between the lines during a time when we desperately needed it !

We will circle π΅ back and see π if the discipline and focus necessary is in the cards????
It is okay to set difficult goals for yourself, and if / when you accomplish them, you will feel gratification !

More 2 follow !!!
Tennessee Tech entered the day at 6-1 versus a 2-5 Bulldogs team, so it only being 14 – 10 at the break is a good place for the home team !
Solid 3rd quarter, only score came on a short field after a Bulldogs fumble. 21-10 as we start the fourth [4:18]
The Citadel added a field goal to make it a one score game at 21 – 13 !
Just inside of the final 2:00, the visitors punch in the KO score, now 28 – 13, and time to start thinking about the 5.1 .miles over to the soccer β½οΈ pitch.
28 – 13 is your final score, and the experience was a treat! The next stop βοΈ is Patriot Point π 5:06 pm[ 8,527 crowd]

I was able to exchange some messages with Tenia a few times today, and she will always remain a HUGE part of our story !
6:07 – 1st touch of the soccer β½οΈ match !
