While the self governed rule for my writing ✍️ is to always be 1000% positive, I will state the fact that I’m 1000% POSITIVE that someone owes Cundy Edwards an apology.
See, Pedro, Coach, and I are considered by most people to be antiquated. Dinosaurs 🦕 from a time long ago, and we all need to be replaced by people, places, and things that are more fresh / hip/ cool.
Maybe, maybe not, but I know that allowing a high school fan to scream at our coach at the top of his lungs in the direction of my / our bench, in front of our players and fans is in a word, INEXCUSABLE.
Yet, no administrator or any of the three officials on hand at James River High School gave it a second thought. We ask ourselves how we win the challenges facing us in society today ? We start by holding people accountable when they are in public and know that it is never OK to show another person up in that manner.
Win the game, lose the game, it’s all good at the end of the day, but understand that you are representing more than just yourself, and your words are being heard by others.
Coach Edwards, on behalf of your two fellow dinosaurs, Pedro and I, we apologize that while you were doing your very best to lead our Lady Cavaliers in a volleyball match, you endured an unfortunate moment.
If we never my intention to be fresh, hip or cool, just someone who knows right from wrong.
