.

Lynchburg, Richmond, New Market, and one all-night Saturday newspaper shift were all part of a historical weekend for me back in 2009.
James Madison University was playing a three game weekend set at Rebel Park, and Bruce Alger was offering me the microphone π€ for any part of it I could attend.
Our oldest daughter, Sabrena, was getting married down in Lynchburg, and it was my job to give her away.
Rob Sisk and Jim Sacco offered me the opportunity to do the one thing I had never done in the sports world – write an op-ed in a daily newspaper ( News Virginian) with the subject being the Buffalo Gap Girls looking to win. the State Championship for the second straight season.
I am positive that I went four for four that weekend because I am still alive, 17 years later !

This one will require more digging for verification purposes, but it was quite the ride !
Sabrena and Josh were married on March 13th…. I got that one, right!
Stay tuned for photos….
