Have a Blessed Day πππ

Tuesday evening will involve matches at Luray Middle School π«, Duke University, and two at Patrick County High School in Stuart.
Wednesday night, will see π D2 Ferrum College play a home match at 6: 30.
Thursday night, matches will be held at both Signal Knob Middle School ( Strasburg ) and on The Hill as the Glenvar Highlanders make their annual trek down from Salem,
A total of eight matches will be played in just over 48 hours, and the connection to each one will be considerably different. In two of the matches, it will be about playing the role of host for both Nikki Heflin and Cindy Edwards. Thursday night will be extra fun for me because of the Glenvar – Carroll County match-up ! It will be the fifth of 10 nights π spent in the home gym this fall.
But there is plenty to keep an eye ππ on between now and then !

In Luray, Virginia, two of these young ladies will be making their Middle School π« debut for the Bulldogs ! Both Melody and Ana will be in action π¬ for the first time on a school team βοΈ it turns out that Madison, the youngest one, has a soccer match immediately after in which she will be coached by our Son, Chris. !

Peter Muhlenberg will make the trek across Massanutten Mountain β°οΈ tonight with the match starting at 4:30 !

Down in Durham, North Carolina, Duke University finally gets to play inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Lady Blue Devils went 4-1 over two weekends on the road and will host Charleston Southern at 6:00 pm

Tonight, the Lady Cavaliers will play their first actual road match of the season over in Patrick County ( Stuart). The varsity team has played two home scrimmages, two home matches, and then a five match marathon over at Patrick Henry – Glade Springs.
Our team sits at 6-1 overall after their second place finish in the Rebel Classic !

Our Junior Varsity team sits at 1-1 and should be hungry for playing tonight after spending time at the Flea Market parking cars π to raise $$$$.

Wednesday night at 6 :30 pm, Half Pint Harris, pictured above with her two sisters, will once again take to the court at Schwartz Gym.

Francis Marion University ( Florence, SC) is a very familiar school name from our time spent down at USC – Aiken. The Lady Panthers sit at 3 – 1 on the freshman season for Miss Harris.
Now you know the eight matches and the connection to them. The amount of coverage will be directly connected to receiving some assistance from others, but it will be a fun attempt just the same. Patrick County High School gym is where cellphone service goes to die, so anything from there will be delayed a smidgen.
Let’s play volleyball π, or in this case, let’s watch and announce volleyball.
No point spreads, no drama, just parents and grandparents watching from the stands and cheering for their favorite player(s)!

Noah with his hands βοΈ at 10 & 2!!

1 Thessalonians 5:16Β Rejoice evermore.
Keep an eye ππ out around The Hill because rumor has it that we have a 6-1 volleyball team roaming around !
I hope that everyone can spend the day with someone who is in their inner circle π΅ and that the Flea Market continues to provide a means of support for oh so many.
Have a Blessed Day πππ

#3 Kentucky is leading #13 Penn State 2-1 with Missouri versus #1 Nebraska waiting in the ondeck circle.

The camera π· angles are trying hard to show the environment that has been created at the friendly confines.
Volleyball π is longer just something that people do in hopes of staying fit in the off-season of another sport !
Fox has the broadcast tonight, and it will be going on for quite some time now…

9:28 ET – Kentucky closes out Penn State, 3-1.
Nebraska and Mizzou around 10pm
The 15-minute piece on the day that Nebraska played a match in front of 92,000+ was inspiring.
1st serve right around 10:15 p.m

17-minute delay as they attempt to dry the court after just two points.
11:00 pm – 42 minutes in, still in 1st set as once again they work on the court.
Tough break for sure, but they are using every means possible to correct the problem. The current break will last a minimum of 15 minutes.

Sadly, what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime evening has been cut βοΈ short.
Starting the event a few hours earlier might have been the best answer, but I will leave the second guessing to others.
I’m just glad that nobody was injured, and the fans were able to watch Kentucky and Penn State.
