It’s been a Laurel Fork kinda morning πŸŒ„…. and that’s a Grand thing !

Three pieces of business that needed to be taken care of this morning and all three are done βœ”οΈ, with the bonus being that I never left the village that we call 🏑🏠🏑.

Even though the month is half over, there are still many items that are still on the LF calendar πŸ“… in September !

The Nester family at the store, Jesse, at our post office 🏀 and getting to meet the impressive young man running things out at Cassell Brothers Garage.

The pumpkins πŸŽƒ are ready to be picked off Stone Mountain Road, and we have neighbors who worry about other people’s cows πŸ„.

Now, if someone could bring back my / our Lake because I miss it and I’m sure that the wildlife does too.

Laurel Fork 🍴….

Prayer Circle πŸ”΅

We actually won the battle of points, just not in games.

What could be for fun than Volleyball 🏐 Math ? It’s as simple as 4/3/2/1 = HUGE WEEK for our Lady Cavaliers !

[4] Over the next four days…. In the span of just over 72 hours…

[3] Three matches will be played ▢️ by our [2] two teams, making it a crucial period for our [1] program !

The journey begins with the trip up Highway 100 for the rematch with Pulaski County. We split with the Cougars when they visited The Hill earlier this season.

No rest for the weary as the teams will return to The Hill for the night, wake up to attend classes, and then head over to Bassett High School 🏫 for yet another early season rematch with the Bengals. Both Cindy Edwards and Nikki Heflin coached their ways to a sweep back on The Hill.

Wednesday night πŸŒ™ is the break in the week, and then we welcome πŸ™ the Lady Buffaloes πŸƒ to The Hill on Thursday night !!! The dream here is that our incredibly jacked athletic director, Kevin DeHaven, shows off his muscles by cranking out the second set of bleachers to make room for the overwhelming crowd !!!

See πŸ‘€, that line works better if you say shows off his guns, but any mention of that in relation to a school 🏫 is the wrong path to go down.

In a perfect world 🌎, our Lady Cavaliers finish Thursday night at 10-2 and then celebrate πŸ₯³ on Friday night by attending the football 🏈🏈🏈 Homecoming festivities !

Dublin, Bassett, and finally back to The Hill….piece of cake πŸŽ‚….

Let’s Do This….

Monday wouldn’t be Monday without our Morning Brew !

Howard Mayo and his Motovational Nugget for the Day :
Travis Osborne and his Bible Verse of the Day :

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Cindy Edwards and Company will make the short drive πŸš— up Highway 100 to Dublin tonight to take on the Pulaski County High School Cougars.

The action 🎬 is set to begin at 5:30 with the JV match.

Have a Blessed Day πŸ™ŒπŸ˜‡πŸ™
