Corey Williams is the key π to Carroll County High School taking the next step up the ladder πͺ in soccer β½οΈ. It’s that simple – the gatekeeper to the sport is the best way to describe his role in the growth of our game.
In order to make the progress that all of us are chasing for Carroll County, it begins with Mr Williams. We all want to play at the level of Glenvar sooner or later, and having someone who can take a player from the beginning steps to controlling the game down the road is simply a MUST HAVE.
Williams is the man we all want in that role we need in that role. Sorry, a bit of Aaron Sorkin and a Few Good Men coming out there…
The picture above is a groundbreaking moment as Corey coached a historical match today. For the first time in school history, we had a middle school team consisting of just girls π§. In the past, it’s been co-ed or just Boys.
Marion Harris shares the following :
Middle school girls had their first ever game in school history, and here is the team picture after it was over.Β 2-2 tie against Patrick Co.
Chad, Marion, Forrest, Adrienne, Brittany, Jeremy, and myself all want the same thing, and please know this, our best shot to get there begins and ends with Mr Corey Williams.
If a beginning player has a bad experience early one, you can easily lose him or her forever. Corey Williams is our MVP, and anything we can do to support his efforts should be done !!!
Thank you, Corey, for being our Gatekeeper of the World’s biggest sport !
