The connection between Forrest Johnson and the young men he coaches on the Pitch at Tommy Thompson Field runs deep. This is obvious anytime I speak to one of his former players, and tomorrow night, we honor the memory of former Cavalier Gustavo Munoz.
Munoz was an anchor on the very first team that Coach Johnson had, and sadly, we lost him was, way too soon.
In between the Junior Varsity and Varsity match tomorrow, we will seek to show his family members that gone is but never forgotten.
It will be an honor to hold the 🎤 during this tribute and I sincerely hope that the stadium is full of support for this moment.
