A lifetime of love 💘 for the game of Softball traces back forty years to when I was Coaching our Church Softball team in St.Peters, Missouri. Willot Road Baptist Church had a left fielder named Linda Beck that would become Linda Carter 40 years ago.
Alan Knight of Page County High School and Rick Nester of Carroll County High School are major players in this story as are the young Ladies from that magical day that took place a full decade ago here in the Commonwealth.
Two Schools, separated by 198 miles and one VHSL classification now but by two back then will be at the center of the story. A story that will have a cast full of characters from both sides and will take quite some time to pen 🖊.
