This just in : Carroll County JV Girls πŸ‘§ once again won’t get to play Basketball tonight as we add Electricity to the list of obstacles. (Swim πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ moved to Saturday)

Shelia Harris has checked in to inform us that the Girls Varsity and JV Games slated for tonight at Christiansburg High School have been pushed to Monday due to a loss of power πŸ”‹.

Not sure what this means for the Swimming which is located just down the street.

Swimming πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ moved to Saturday

Please, Mother (Nature), can our Cavaliers come out and Play today ? Please…

Six of the eight teams that compete in the Winter months are chomping at the bit to return to action 🎬 and all of them need to go at least to Exit 114 on Interstate 81.

Both Swim πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ teams are set to complete at their Regional meet tonight at the Big Pool in Christiansburg. Tickets 🎟 to be punched to the State meet are on the line for the Cavaliers.

Just a mile or so down the road the Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls πŸ‘§ Basketball πŸ€ teams look to play at Christiansburg High School. The Varsity team will host Glenvar back on The Hill Friday night as well.

48 more miles up the Highway, the Boys Varsity team will look to clinch at least a tie πŸ‘” in the Three Rivers District Championship against James River. The Junior Varsity team will return to action in the Auxiliary Gym at 5:30.

The buses are all set to go North by Northeast, just need Mom πŸ‘© to sign our permission slips !

With the need for makeup games pushing the Calender to the eve of Regional tournament games, there will be no one game District tournament Championship tilt.

Thank You to Mr. DeHaven for confirming what appeared obvious to the eye! As the District will need every available day left between now and February 21st to get regular season games played, there will not be a One game District tournament.

Today was originally set to be the end date of the regular season but the latest group of postponements now has the Schools 🏫 usingΒ  the entire window of available dates πŸ“….

Stayed tuned for further information as Mother Nature dictates.
