It’s 3:45 pm ahead of a 4:30 start time and team Buses and Vans are pulling in from all over the place as Carroll County gets to play host for the Day !

Preview for Wednesday. As of now: 42 varsity boys running, 41 varsity girls running. 95 middle schoolers. One of our largest home meets in recent years. Schools attending: Pulaski Co, Grayson Co., Bland, Ft. Chiswell, Rural Retreat, Tazewell, Patrick Co., Giles, Galax Middle School, and of course Carroll Co.Times:
There is a change from usual to allow varsity athletes to go to the parade.Varsity Boys: 4:30Varsity Girls. 5:00Middle School. 5:45 or when Varsity Girls finish.
We will be here until the final runner 🏃♂️ has crossed the Finish Line !!

Coach actually let me help out, just like Vickey Ritchie ! Spent part of the time filling water 💧 cups 🥤 for the runners 🏃♂️ and then playing Traffic Director once the Deputy had to head down to the Homecoming Parade.
This one includes our Injured Runner, at the expense of Ethan Edwards.
The young Lady 👩 to the right of Coach Montgomery will appear in a separate story before too long. Very well spoken individual 👏
Coach brought the Big Guns 🔫 out today as Mrs. Shannon Dalton was his assistant for the meet. Getting to talk education with Mrs. D is the highlight of any day..
