Great day on the course and the weather was picture perfect for the golfers 🏌️‍♂️ and the spectators there to support them.

Later this morning 🌄 Ashlyn Newman will take to the Pitch as a Collegiate player for the first time !

Carroll County’s All-Time leading scorer and her Lady Bulldog teammates are set to make their season debut today over in Arkansas.

Harding University will be the opposing team as Union University begins their season with a trio of road games before playing in front of their home fans in Jackson, Tennessee later this month.

We will do our best to keep up with Miss Newman throughout her Freshman campaign and its worth noting that there will be a life stream of today’s match on the schools Website.

Junior Varsity Volleyball 🏐 breaks in the Auxiliary Gymnasium by hosting Marion High School 🏫

As you can see 👀, the photo 📷 credit here goes to Mama Smoot.

Jason Petty led his 16 player squad into his first match of the season Wednesday night 🌙 and it turned out to be a first for the Auxiliary Gym.

Marion won the contest 2-0 ( 25-15, 25-18) in front of a nice crowd, especially when you factor in the fact that the Junior Varsity Football 🏈 game was being played at Tommy Thompson Field at the same time.

Two photos 📷 sent in by Aaliyah Hampton.

Coach Petty was pleased with the effort he received from his very young squad 👏.

Despite being busy in the Gymnasium with Volleyball 🏐, we were able to keep up with the JV Football 🏈 game, thanks to Samantha Reed by way of Kevin DeHaven and then Ben Tickle sealed the deal with a capture of the Scoreboard !

Grayson County came to The Hill Wednesday night 🌙 to test our Junior Varsity Football team 🏈🏈🏈 and our Cavaliers were more than up to the challenge !

Congratulations 👏👏👏 to the team as they had it working 💪 on both sides of the field.

If anyone has a photo 📷 or two they want to add, please do !

Ask, and you shall receive – six pics from Velvet Creed Leonard
