  The annual trip to IU-SE is always special because it is the University that my oldest Brother (Wayne ) earned one of his two College degrees. They are rich in resources and dominant on the Baseball ⚾️ diamond 💎. But we will not duck the challenge !

Back on the campus of Utah Tech for Day 2 of the Beehive Classic and in game 1of 4 we have Utah State (Aggies) facing the Thunderbirds of Southern Utah University…

Should be a great day around the Diamond 💎

10:40 – we already have 4 innings in the books 📚, T-Birds 🐦 leading 1-0.

First Pitch of the bottom of the 5th was a laser shot that just cleared the fence in left center, tied 1-1.

10:50- Utah Valley University is in the house wearing their Green Tops and White Pants.

Utah State is wearing all black and the T-Birds, all gray.

Two out solo 💣 to right center in the bottom of the 6th gives the Aggies the 2-1 lead.

11:15 – Final Score : Aggies 2, Thunderbirds 1

12:30  Start for Game 5/13

Utah Valley University hits the ground running, putting up a 3spot in the bottom of the 1st

Utah State picked up a run in the top of the fourth but the Wolverines answer with a solo shot in the bottom of the inning. UVU leads 5-1 (1:29 MT.

The ” Bomb 💣 actually snuck over the fence but the scorebook doesn’t measure distance….

Bases loaded with no outs….Wolverines looking for the TKO punch 👊

Bases loaded walk 🚶‍♂️, 6-1

Utah Utes are in the 🏠, wearing Red & Red. Should note 📝 that UVU was wearing Green tops during warm-ups but are playing in white except their socks and jersey numbers.

Force out at home plate but throwing error leads to 7th run.

Sharp single to centerfield makes it 8-1

Sharp single to left, 9-1 and bases still loaded.

Fielders choice at 3rd, 10-1.

Utes have switched from all Red to All Black uniforms.

Final out recorded but not until 6 runs cross the dish. We head to the 5th and the Aggies have to score two if they want to extend the game.

1:56 – Wolverines win 10-1 in five. Next game is in 64 minutes.

Game # 5 of 13 figures to be one sided and the Utes have scored eight in their first two at bats. 8-0 over the Trailblazers as we head into the bottom of the second inning.

Over in New Albany

The Trailblazers baseball ⚾️ team has a 3pm first pitch taking place on the adjoining diamond 💎.

It’s gone final back in Indiana

Not getting any better for the Trailblazers as the Utes have pushed it to 13-0 in the top of the 3rd and they are still batting.

Bottom 5th, Trailblazers down 15 -0 and down to their last out at 5:18 MT.

10 questions that we will ponder as Spring is in the Air on The Hill ! In no particular order…

Next up : Weber State vs Utah Valley University at 5:30ish

They need time to flip the field after the third game so just by turning around I was able to catch some baseball ⚾️ action 🎬…

Game #7 of 13 will begin shortly and should be a good one !

5:56 – 75° but the Sun 🌞 is setting quickly

Utah Valley University launched a solo shot in the top of the first inning and lead 1-0.

Middle of the 3rd, Wolverines leading the Wildcats, 3-0 as the lights are now on

Wolverines added two in the top of the 6th inning, now 6-0…

Wildcats scratch out a run 🏃‍♂️ and now have baserunners on the corners.

That sound just made was a 3-run 💣💣💣 to dead centerfield to make it 6-4!!!!

We are headed to the bottom of the 7th for the first time in a while !!! Wolverines 6, Wildcats 4…

One out double brings the tying run 🏃‍♂️ to the plate……Exciting Stuff
