Tuesday, June 2nd, is going to be OneofUs.Care International Softball Day ! Why ? Maybe the better question is, why not ??

Travis Osborne and his Bible Verse of the Day :

Psalm 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Howard Mayo and his Motovational Nugget for the Day :

Now, back to the three levels of Softball on tap

Travis Osborne is a Big Fan of TT Head Coach, and the clip above will help understand that ! We have quite the Championship series coming at the D1 level !

Alan Knight on the left and his doppelganger on the right, Texas Head Coach, Mike White both have roles in the next couple of days.

But first things first, here in a smidgen, it will be time to head back over to Moyer Sports Complex for the D3 Championship, Trine vs Belhaven

Have a Blessed Day 🙌

After a short break to support both Vickey Ritchie and Casey Burcham, it’s back to Star 🌟 City for the conclusion of our coverage of the D3 College World Series

This journey started with three days of coverage ( Thursday, Friday, and Saturday ), and then we hit pause ⏸️ in order to take care of some folks back on The Hill.

Closing in on 1st Pitch ! Covering Carroll County versus Abingdon baseball ⚾️ at 6 pm…. Cavs fall just short, 4-2 but we made sure the Falcons earned it.

Today’s Good Guy 👦 Tip of the Cap goes to Patrick Smith ! One of our leaders / partners in our Special Olympics Basketball 🏀 family !

Both were fun writes ✍️ and now it’s back to the sport of Softball !

Trine versus Redlands, first pitch slated for 11:00 a.m.

Results from Sunday….

Thank you to the Harris family for the ride from Wytheville to Abingdon and back. It was greatly appreciated !

Day #3 in Salem, and it’s a great day for Softball, but when isn’t it a great day for Softball ?

Linfield versus Simpson in an elimination game !

More 2 follow…..

Both clubs plate 2 runs 🏃‍♀️ in the second inning

There was no doubt on the Linfield bomb to left field. It flirted with clearing the back wall at 300 feet.

Wildcats plate 1 in the top of the third, leading 3-2. [11:45]

Storm respond with one of their own in the bottom of the 3rd.

Love the flag !

The amount of energy being generated by the crowd is impressive ! It’s not about how many people, it’s about how much heart.

Halftime score 3-3 ( Mid 4th)

End 4th [12:14], Storm lead 4-3….once again, great game !

It was fitting that we would need extra innings to decide this one ! Everything about this one was great for the sport !

For the Love of Softball : D3 College World Series kicks off Thursday morning in Salem ! Fear the Fish as Virginia Wesleyan University holds the #1 Seed
