While at Stop ✋#4 of 7 on the Great Utah College Run, its time to check in with Marion Harris and Travis Osborne in Gatlinburg with our Travel Volleyball 🏐 team(s)!

Marion informs us that the tournament was originally scheduled for two days has been shortened to just Saturday due to the amount of Snow ❄ fall. The weather kept some teams from attending the event.

From Travis :

Rampage-14 is just getting ready to take the court for their first game. Complete schedule change due to teams dropping out because of the weather.

Tournament has been shortened to today only. I’ll keep you posted!!Lost first game in 2 Sets. 25-7 25-15. Morgan stepped to the Service Line to serve up 5 straight points to cut into the deficit, but it wasn’t enough to overcome. All the girls played really well👍🏻👍🏻

As the second round of weather is upon us now, we already know that the Wrestling has been moved.

Elijah Cox and Randolph College are slated to play up at Exit 313 in Winchester today. Shenandoah University is set to welcome the Wildcats.

Over in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, we have some dedicated Carroll County Volleyball 🏐 players set to compete for Cindy Edwards and her staff. With both Travis Osborne and Marion Harris on hand ✋we should be in a position where we can show some appreciation for this group of Ladies.

Speaking of Travis, his Bible Verse 🙏 of the Day:

As for the two of us, we have wondered up from the safety of the Desert 🏜 towards the Top of the State in hopes of visiting more of the 11 College campuses here in the Bee 🐝 Hive state where College Hoops are played.

Two of the 11 are Utah Tech and Southern Utah University, down in our end. The other nine are in the Greater Salt Lake City area.

Westminster University – D2 1 &3 pm

University of Utah – 4pm (Men)

Snow College ❄ (JuCo) 1 & 3

Utah State – Eastern (JuCo) 1 & 3

Amazingly 9 of the 11 will be hosting Basketball 🏀 games today ranging in Tip Times of 11am Mountain ⛰ until 4pm Mountain.

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, sounds like a good question ???

We will see some College Basketball today but I’m not sure if it will rival what we watched last night.

Our Rampage-14 Ladies report for duty at 10:00 am tomorrow(Saturday) morning for their first game at 11:00 Followed by games at 12:00 & 2:00. They will finish tommorow working the 3:00 game.

One would think that the weekend is an exciting time for the members of the Volleyball team. VB, like many other sports, has become a year around commitment and with the assistance of the folks in Gatlinburg this weekend we hope to spotlight the efforts put forth by this group.
