School Calendar remains blank but we have 12 teams getting ready to rumble !

So bummed that after Greensboro hosted the ACC Women for what felt like forever, this year its being played in Atlanta. Duke has a double bye and will join the Party 🥳 at Noon on Friday.

Our youngest child is kinda old now but she had a great night last night in regards to the VHSL State Tournament. Rebecca attended Spotswood High as a Freshman and then spent her final three years at Luray High School.

The three amigos that can stake a claim to being the Real Alyssa Ervin Top Fan will all have to agree that Christy is the only one that goes by the title of Mom!

Big Day for a number of folks connected with The Hill !

Marion Harris is the one who has the story about encouraging a very young little Girl that she should try and play Basketball 🏀.

Kris Richardson is the one who coached her early on in her career and later helped pen 🖊 a Book 📖 about her.

I get to be the one ( and only ) person to both create the Book about her and the other Lady Cavaliers and then become a beat writer for the 2025 – 2026 Lady Paladins.

Ed Robtison gets the credit for Coaching her through Outlaws Travel Ball.

Marc Motley helped put a couple of rings 💍💍 on her fingers but the happiest and proudest person in the Circle 🔵 is Mrs Christy Ervin !!!

Day 3 brought us 517 miles closer to Laurel Fork !

710 miles left… we added 135 miles to the trip by including a stop ✋ in the greater St Louis area where both of us have a Sister still with us.

We are getting closer and closer 🙌

The ” A ” in ASPN stands for Academics and bonus ” A ” is for the (Gateway) Arch as in Gateway to the West ! Once again, Trenton’s Mom 👩 allows us to appreciate the Cavalier Brain 🧠 Power while in the shadow of the Arch !!

 

    Social studies won 80-60

    English ended in over time with a tie 40-40! A tie 👔

Math lost 60-45

Science lost a very close match 48-45

All Around won on the very last question that MY TRENTON answered 60-55

Day 3 is moving forward as we have said goodbye to Oklahoma and did a cameo with Kansas.

No real news here, just more of an update if you will. Some first time readers have found the site today and I wanted to take a minute to explain what they have stumbled upon.

Linda and I moved to Carroll County six years ago and once we finished unpacking we started our own Non-profit organization, OneofUs.Care.
