We had an amazing game last night! We have NINE new girls to our JV team with a range from no soccer experience to some soccer experience. We also have seven returning players. We played a wonderful 60 minutes of soccer. I was so impressed with our ability to defend the back and press up into the box several times throughout the game.

     We had some great defensive stops by Kaebry, Aaliyah, Aubrey, Taelynn, and Eva. Chloe (captain) was absolutely amazing in the goal. She had some incredible saves. We also had some amazing work in the middle and front of the field from Vanessa (captain), Danna, Essined, Sherlyn (captain), Arianna, Violet, Dezirae, and Sophira.

      These girls left all they had on the field. They took what we worked on in practice and applied it beautifully! We had some great crosses and shots on the goal. We left this game 0-0 against a pretty good Abingdon team. I’m super happy with these results, and I can’t wait to see these girls work this season!!

Mariah and Makenzie are also working hard, and I’m impressed with the commitment all these girls have!

Ron Cochran gets the credit for the finishing touches on this one, but there are plenty of folks who stepped up to the plate in our efforts to both support our sophomore Race 🏁 Car driver and everyone who wears the colors for Coach Shawn Montgomery and Coach Jon Delp!

Gone, but not forgotten, is the thought process here. The day of the lone home Track and Field meet was when we took the pictures, we knew that they wouldn’t return until the Senior Day Soccer Match, and even then, only the Seniors.

Thank you list – Kevin DeHaven, Tammy Quesenberry, Craig Worrell, Eddie Walls, Velvet Leonard, Copper Seaman , Dakota Walls, Kristy Jones and Ron Cochran ! Class Acts across the board !!

Our CCMS Cavaliers Softball Ladies captured their 2nd Win this season with the 15-13 VIctory over The Grayson County Blue Devils!!

JV was winning 4-2 in second at Northside.
