Fort Chiswell, Virginia – Carroll County High School is set to join host Fort Chiswell and six other local Schools for three days of non – stop Basketball π beginning today and continuing on Monday and Tuesday.
The Cavaliers enter the event supporting a 3 -2 mark which includes splitting two exciting games against the host Pioneers. We won’t know if there’s going to be a trilogy or not until the bracket unfolds.
Fort Chiswell is slated to open against East Wilkes High School (Ronda, NC) while Carroll County will square off against Narrows High School
Narrows also sits at 3-2 and the Green Waves and Carroll County have a common opponent in Galax. NHS kicked off its season with a 59 – 51 victory at Galax while the Cavaliers cruised to a 20 point victory in the same Gymnasium.
Three Rivers District foe, Radford, is once again in the field and the Bobcats will open up against Ashe County ( West Jefferson, NC). Galax and Pulaski County round out the field.
8 Varsity and 8 Junior Varsity teams are set to compete in a Wall to Wall manner with Carroll County capping off Day 1 with an 8 :30 Tip-off
Ryan Phillips will step into the shoes π of Jason Stockner who led the Junior Varsity to a matching Championship last season.

Beginning on Saturday afternoon, both the Junior Varsity Boys π¦ Basketball and the Varsity Basketball will play three games in the annual Fort Chiswell High School event.
Head Coach Anthony Barnes has enjoyed the past two years at The Fort as they have ended with the Cavaliers holding up πππ. JV Coach Ryan Phillips will be looking to follow up on the success of former Coach Jason Stockner.
A look ahead shows that the Cavaliers will open up against Narrows in both brackets. The schedule π for Monday and Tuesday will be determined as the three day event plays out.
