Still need to create a story for David Broyles about the Volleyball match last night 🌙 and compile the notes from the Boys 👦 Middle School 🏫 game.
Giving up what little sleep 💤 that I could have gotten was worth it to me because it presents one final opportunity to ✍✍✍ about Cindy Edwards and her Volleyball program.

9-7 them after 1 13-13 @ the half 19-16 them after 3 We got outscored 24-0 in the 4th. Lost 43-16. We battled really hard in the first 3 quarters. Their size and strength just got to us in the 4th. I was very pleased with everything but the 4th.
I felt like we got rattled, and the wheels just fell off. We learn from our mistakes and move forward. We are back at it on Wednesday when we play Fort Chiswell at CCMS. Boys play at 5:30, girls to follow.

The outcome of the game was never going to be in doubt as Furman University invited neighborin North Greeneville State to campus but getting the first game in the books 📚 is always a Great Thing.
Alyssa Ervin went 6 of 7 from the floor and 1 of 2 from the charity stripe in her first official game wearing Purple ! Six rebounds and one assist is a strong 💪 showing for our All-Time Scoring Champ !
The team will travel to nearby Athens, Georgia later this week for a clash with the Georgia Bulldogs…

End of the 3rd quarter has the score 50-9, both teams rotating in new players after a fast paced first half. Gibson adding to the score and Remington Millaway getting in on the action too. – From Beth
So far, both Duke University and the California Golden Bears have come up on the wrong side of the scoreboard. Next final had the Middle School Boys falling short
