This weekend we will host our Season Opener in the House that Joe Goddard helped build back in the day !

We will be playing against a school 🏫 that was or wasn’t named after Skipper Lawrence Nesselrodt. But one thing is for sure, Legendary Joe Goddard paved his trail to the San Diego Padres by playing College Baseball ⚾️ for the Thundering Herd of Marshall University.

Big highlight for me is that if you Google Joe Goddard Marshall – two of the three photos 📷 are mine !

It’s an honor to share a Baseball diamond 💎 with Mr Goddard and if that is to be the case this weekend, it will simply add to the history of Golden Bears 🐻 Baseball ⚾️
