Equality is the Goal, get up everyday and do your absolute best to try and treat everyone as equals.
The Bible says so many different things to so many different people. My takeaway is that God created us as equals and treat others as you wish to be treated.
I’m committed to chasing this thought process for however long I am fortunate enough to be here on Earth π!
I will do my best to not bother people with by delusional ( you have to know that I struggled to spell the word) thought process.

Two words that can really hurt ?
It’s Just……. Don’t put those words in front of something that isn’t yours because what you are describing could be the most important thing in someone’s life.
Think Kindness !
The schedule has changed a few times, so I have been waiting for the updated one before I sent anything to you. Our team consists of 13 players:

Between the Middle School and the High School, Carroll County will have six basketball π teams and we will happily share ANY / ALL information sent in as our way of showing support for all that would like the help !
We are excited about the Basketball π Whisperer making his season debut !

Tomorrow night π we welcome π James River High School π«.to The Hill for a Junior Varsity and Varsity doubleheader. It will be the final time the Gymnasium will be used this fall so it will be the final time of holding the π€ππ€ and trying to make the atmosphere everything it can be.
The theme for the night π is Pink Out as October is Breast Cancer π Awareness Month. It will also be the final time that Callie Harris, Brooke Webb and Corrie Delp play in the gym. Laiken Burnett will also be in the building for her farewell but her cast will limit her to a supportive role.
Each of the three seasons in the School year are as different as possible and then some. Fall is the one that mixes indoors and outside before everyone heads in for the Winter and then outside for the Spring.
Volleyball π will hopefully π play one more match next week in the Regional tournament and our three Cross Country runners πββοΈ will still race next week over in Axton at Smith River. Still a bit more writing β to do but the announcing ends at match point.
The past few years with Cindy Edwards and her program has included a number of Student Athletes who have left their mark on the franchise that is Carroll County Volleyball.
Alyssa Ervin earned Three Rivers District Player of the Year and a quartet of Lady π© Cavaliers have went on to play at the next level. Two of the four Seniors this season have rewritten the CCHS record books π!!
Burnett leaves The Hill as the All-Time leader in Assists and her classmate, Callie Harris became just the second member of the 1,000 Digs club.
This season included a trio of matches with Brittany Kinney and her Middle School team nine nights with the older players.

Nikki Heflin and Sheila Harris teamed up to fill the void created by the retirement of Jason Petty. Kayla Nester stepped into the role of Assistant Coach for Varsity as Maleah Neely stepped away to catch her breath. Kim Weddle rounds out the Varsity staff and Coach Kelly Holderfield assisted at the Middle School.

Add up all of the names of the Coaches and Players in the three levels of the program and you are looking at 60 young Ladies that performed until the watchful eyes π of the ‘Ole Ball Coach “. Each night they did their best to represent Carroll County and know that if they didn’t, Coach Edwards was quick to tell them so.
Going back to the Seniors, they’re final stage is still months away and they have plenty left to accomplish. But when the final point is scored Thursday nightπ it will mark the end of an era where the home Gym is concerned.
Thanks for the Memories π!
Before our very eyes π., Half Pint and the Professor are All Grown Up now ! Callie Harris and Laiken Burnett now both reside in the Volleyball 1,000 Club…

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, OΒ Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Ghost of a Chance Basketball Camp is the official title for today ! Coach Vickey will welcome any / all participants who stop β by the Gymnasium..

Have yourself a Blessed Day π
