Congratulations to Kara Lawson and her Duke University Women’s Basketball team as they advanced today to the Elite . Not sure how they will match up with Dawn Staley and the defending Champs on Sunday but they get to keep playing ! Kudos to the UNC Ladies for making it to the second weekend.

Thank You to Mr. Ron Cochran for his time and energy today as he made some tweaks and upgrades on the logo originally created by our lifelong friend, Mr Rob Sisk.
Years ago the Buffalo Bills 🐃 upgraded their logo with the main addition being a red arrow 🏹 showing movement.
The logic stuck with me all these years so here we are, the Yellow Sun 🌞 is still hanging out over the grassy Mountain ⛰ but hopefully it shows movement.

Ron and I have also settled on our joint Foul Ball contest for year 4 at Cavalier Park. It’s just our way to make our Home Softball games. It will also debut on Friday night 🌙.
We have a schedule change for the Junior Varsity Softball team as their game at Bassett High School 🏫 has been moved up from Friday to Thursday afternoon. This will allow the Coaching staff, players and families an opportunity to attend the Friday home Varsity game and post game tribute to Jeff Tobler.
Two Girls 👧 Soccer ⚽️ games and two Baseball ⚾️ games are on the slate, with things getting underway here in just over one hour. Plus we have Jabin Talley playing Tennis 🎾 and Golden Bears 🐻 Baseball taking place.
