Today is the reason why I am such a Fan of All-Things Duke University 💙

  It’s not unusual for a morning to start near the Campus of Duke University but this time its a little bit different. Linda and I await our opportunity to meet with the Brain 🧠 Doctor this morning in hopes of finding out more about the situation we are currently in with regards to Lin’s well being.

  It’s never been about how many wins a team earns in a given season or how many Bowl 🥣 games our little Football team qualifies for. It’s about Higher Education and the advancement in Medical 🚑 technology.

It’s a shame that they don’t make Bobbleheads for Doctors !

Speaking of Baseball ⚾️, the Strasburg Express is preparing to leave the station for the 2025 Valley Baseball League season !

Mr Jay Neal is the reason why OneofUs.Care can exist today and its with a great deal of pride that I can say that we continue our relationship with the Express for another season !

Sunday night, June 22nd will be our Night at the ballpark located in the Heart of Rams 🐏 country.

If the name Jay Neal sounds familiar to someone down this way its because he played Defensive Back at Virginia Tech University back in the day. VT edged out Duke as his landing spot and Jay went to Law School at William and Mary. After graduating, he returned to Shenandoah County and has been serving the community ever since.

Jay recently retired from practicing Law and can now focus his time to the four loves of his life – his Family, the Express, keeping people on the correct path and the Baltimore Orioles.

Grandchildren are the wonder of the World 🌎

If you find yourself in the Strasburg area this Summer, stop by and catch an Express game. Jay will be the one with the 🎤🎙🎤, trying hard to create the perfect atmosphere.

There’s a reason why teams play to the final buzzer and Sunday night 🌙 the Winnipeg Jets reminded us of just that!

Game 7 in any best of 7 is special but Sunday night North of the Border was one for the (Ice 🧊) Ages.

Winnipeg trailed 3-1 entering the final two minutes of regulation when they scored with 1:56 remaining. Still down 3-2, the Jets put the Biscuit in the Basket 🧺 with 0:03 remaining in their season!

Twenty four minutes later, into the second overtime period, the Jets closed out the Blues to advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Hockey 🏒 fan or not, the life lesson provided here is a simple one – give everything you have right up until the officials tell you to stop ✋. It Ain’t over until its over !

As dramatic as it gets !

The Jets captured their first Presidents Cup (Best record in the regular season) and live to play another Day because of the ability to never give up !
