We have four more games taking place in Duluth and two more here in Ashville ➕ the Friday / Saturday flip has been made for the Golden Bears 🐻 Baseball games with the double header now today and the single game on Saturday
Both Alyssa Ervin and Furman University & Kira Lawson and Duke University Women’s teams are set to Tip at 11:00 am so the day will start out hot 🔥.
Next up will be the MACC recap and then its Hoops and Baseball ⚾️.

The first time I came in contact with Mr.Huffman was last year when the folks at the B.R.O.C were putting the finishing touches on their Annual Golf ⛳ Tournament down in Elkin, North Carolina.

By the time that I stumbled across this group of dedicated Community leaders they were heading down the home stretch of their 2023 Golf outing. Playing a round of Golf ⛳ at CedarBrook Country Club last Wednesday was just the icing on the cake 🎂. We were part of the early Morning 🌄 Shot Gun start and the day was full of memorable moments.

A number of Media outlets had reported on the amazing efforts of retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle. Since Hurricane 🌀 Helene struck the area, Biffle has used his helicopter 🚁 to fly rescue missions in and out of the region. Getting to see Greg land his bird a few yards away added a layer to that story.
